USA govt. mistake blocks 84,000 legitimate websites

So that makes screw-up number two. Last time they took out thousands of unrelated blogs when they went after pirates.

 

That's exactly why they should never be given the power to "kill" the internet.

 

As the blog itself pointed out, this kind of blunder will make it much harder, if not impossible, to get legislation passed to authorize the kinds of shutdowns they'd like. Admittedly, that's assuming there's still some sanity left somewhere in the gummint.
