I've encountered multiple AT&T customers this morning that had no service until they connected to Wi-Fi.
As there is a carrier that is US Cellular it seems like they should have used a different title... anyway, we have had multiple people in the office on AT&T and Cricket that have been having issues most of the day. I'm surprised there ha not been more discussion. I've seen unverified claims that it might be a cyber attack. I guess we'll see if that turns out to be something.
Thanks 1PW--the graph now shows it's getting back to "0" but not quite there yet. AT&T is my carrier and I can currently make calls. The phone is never online, though, so don't know if that would have made a difference anyway.
This is an interesting take but they admit in the article that it is just speculation. AT&T suffers major outage following massive solar flares | Android Central
