Hi all.. and Happy New Year!! :p I was wondering if any of you could let me know your thoughts on this? I have a Sony Vio notebook and recentally I have denied access to the "Sony Upnp Frame Work" with ZAP. I am now getting error messages that are requesting to notify MS. My computer runs fine with the exception of the error message at boot up. I am trying to secure my computer to the best of my ability, utilizing ZAP, NOD32, Trojan Hunter, Adware 6 , & XCleaner. Just wondering if this Upnp is a security issue, (IE One of the infamouse MS security problems)? By the way.. I hope this is the proper thread for this question?

Hi ArchAngel_8. Welcome to Wilders. Go to www.grc.com (Steve Gibsons site). There you can read up on the Upnp vulnerabilities "Unplug and Pray". He also has a nice little program to disable Upnp in Windows.
