    I just upgraded from True Image 9.0 (worked fine) to 10.0. Now when I got to back up Wizard > My Computer it hangs (not responding). I uninstalled and reinstalled with same results.

    Win XP Pro w/ latest updates
    3.6 P4 4GB Ram

    How can I get it to run?

    Thanks.

    Hello pindman,

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

    We are sorry for the delayed response.

    Could you please clarify if you unistalled Acronis True Image 9.0 Home prior to the installation of Acronis True Image 10.0 Home or did you install version 10.0 over Acronis True Image 9.0 Home?

    Please try the suggestion described by d.chatten this post, namely:

    - Uninstall the current version of Acronis True Image via Start -> Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs -> Acronis True Image;

    - Delete all files in \Documents and Settings\[Account Name]\Local Settings\Temp\ folder by running Disk Cleanup wizard from the system drive (e.g. C: ) Properties (remember to check the Temporary Files checkbox);

    After that install build 4871 of Acronis True Image 10.0 Home once again and see if the issue persists.

    If the issue persists, please create Acronis Report and Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post. Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with a solution.

    Thank you.
