Updating NIS2007, Problem

Hello,

I am haveing problems with updating NIS2007.
The problem is that it downloads updates from the servers and when trying to install them it stops on for example firewall security updates which happened yesterday. There is no rule when it will stop while installing updates. I tried with reinstalling but it didn't help.
Also I tried to disable the real time protection and then update with the same (no)success.

If someone have any idea why this is happening please let me know.

It could that during a previous update some necessary files of NIS get corrupted. O
I don't now if Symantec offers this option but you can try. Put in the installation disc and choose for modify/repair. You could also try to reinstall windows installer by downloading it here http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=889482FC-5F56-4A38-B838-DE776FD4138C&displaylang=en
