Curious problem... I've got two computers - one desktop and one notebook. The desktop updates fine, but the notebook keeps reporting that the 'update is not digitally signed' and asking for confirmation to proceed, which I normally give, if I'm there to see it. Clearly, if this doesn't happen (no-one present to confirm) then the update is rejected. I'm guessing that the digital signature check is something to do with a setting on the notebook, but I've checked everything I can think of and I can't find anything that could create this effect. Can anyone help track this down?

this has happened before, try following teh instructions in this post.

if u dont want to uninstall/reinstall, go to C:\Program Files\Eset\updfiles and delete the files in that folder, then try to update again.

:D Great! Tried the clear-out and update as suggested. The update completed successfully. No digital signature message. Many thanks for your help.
