I have downloaded it twice and get an invalid digital signature on it. o_O

It is my conclusion that EAF should be effective at preventing most current shellcode from executing and therefore a useful mitigation. However, it is relatively simple to bypass.

just to be aware as Emet is still good to have.

I downloaded it after I got home and the digital signature checks out ok now. Don't know if it was the file or the network.

    just started using it today.

    so far so good.
i tried the Maximum security but that renders the keyboard inoperative.
so i'm using the Recommended setting.

    edit:
Maximum security seems to be working fine now.
    go figure. ;)

Does anyone know of an easy way to know when EMET is updated...without manual check or relying on threads like these?

    Odd.

When the latest version came out, I downloaded it and when I launch EMET executable (not the installer), there's a valid digital signature.

Today, I was going to update in one other system, but I couldn't find the installer, so I re-downloaded it, and though the installer is digitally signed, the executable itself isn't. Anyone gets this as well?

Have you tried using a software update checker like SUMo, Secunia OSI, or Update Checker?

Yup. I've used SUMO in the past for a short while but no longer. I'm using UC atm but it doesn't have EMET in it's database. Does Secunia have it because I haven't been running that for some time?

    Secunia PSI recognizes EMET.
