Update to 6.0.308.1 is not installing

Hi,

I'm currently using the german version of 6.0.306.3 with Windows 7 x64 and I was waiting impatiently for the promised update to 6.0.308.x, because of the Outlook 2013 bug.
Yesterday NOD32 informed me, that an update of the program components was successful! You can also read it in the log files!

So I thought, the german version got its update finally (I know, the update to 308 for the english version is available quite some time). But after a look into the version information of NOD32, it still says version 306 - even after rebooting the PC. When I tell NOD32 to search for an update, it says 603 is the most recent version, even though the eset website offers the german version 308.1 for download.

I know, I could download the recent version directly from the website and install it manually. But I would be appeasing to me to know that NOD32 is able to keep itself up to date.

What's going wrong here?

The full (as this is) version Eset software is rarely automatically updated for all. So, install direct from site the latest version now that you know it is out.

 

If you didn't install v6.0.308 manually, I assume the German message might refer to program modules. Not sure how they translate program modules and program components.
