I recently had both the laptop and desktop off the internet for awhile, with the laptop off for a few days. Prior to signing online the desktop had defs for 1903 and the laptop for 1901. When I signed on however they both only downloaded a 24kb update from Eset and went up to 1904. I thought NOD updated cumulativey, how did they get the same 24 kb update when they were not at the same point? Shouldn't the laptop have downloaded a larger update? Is this why NOD sometimes misses virii that are in the defs? How do I get the laptop equal and current to the desktop?

That's a really good question, I am sure both would have the same definitions, however, how do you account for the file size being the same...

Email sent, waiting on reply, very nice pick up...

    Cheers :D

Dear Mr. Frying Pan and Mr. Spear,

(Sorry, couldn't help myself!) There are engine update levels that are released. Engine 1 contained versions 1.901, 1.902, 1.903 and 1.904. Engine 2 so far only contains version 1.905. Therefore your 2 machines would have received the same size update when they both received version 1.904.

A rather subdued and humble Bandicoot. :D
