I have just uninstalled the AV only beta version, downloaded a new version and reinstalled. I did this in the vague hope that the web access protection would come back to life automatically, which it hasn't, however, now the virus signature database can't be updated because of an invalid name or password. The password and name are copied and pasted from my original license document and are correct.
Has this happened to anyone else and does anyone know how to fix it?
The strange thing is that it says the last successful update was at 15:59 today at the same time as it was telling me the update failed! (Virus signature 2478 )

Restart your computer and see if it updates. There was a brief glitch today with the updating.

Tried that but it is still telling me my user name and password are incorrect.
    Any other suggestions?

    Same situation here:
ESSbeta2 shows red icon and says: invalid username and (or) password. Can't update virus signature database.
    I'm using my 3years-License of NOD32-AV.
This happens the first time today (no update problems with beta1 before and with beta2 yesterday)
    bye
