Running NOD32 2.09. Whenever I resume the laptop from a sleep or hibernate stage NOD32 attempts to connect to search for updates (if an hour has passed since the last time before sleep or hibernate. It times out because the laptop takes at least 15 or 20 seconds to reconnect/rediscover the network. Hence, this is what I get:
    Time   Module   Event   User
2/11/2004 14:36:17 PM   Update   Function: gethostbyname, parameters: , return value: 11001
2/11/2004 14:36:17 PM   Update   Update attempt failed (Server connection failure.)
2/11/2004 14:36:15 PM   Update   Error connecting to server www.nod32.com.
2/11/2004 14:36:13 PM   Update   Error connecting to server u4.eset.com.
2/11/2004 14:36:12 PM   Update   Error connecting to server u3.eset.com.
2/11/2004 14:36:09 PM   Update   Error connecting to server u1.eset.com.
2/11/2004 14:36:09 PM   Update   Error connecting to server u2.eset.com.

If another hour passes with the laptop left on, all is well.

What I would like to find out (Eset did not supply me with this information) is if there is a registry setting for NOD32 that would allow me to insert a delay (30 seconds) before checking for updates. A pointer to the correct registry key would be helpful. Thanks,
    Steve
