Thanks for the update. Good freeware. Used to use this, but then I switched to Sumatra, which fits more to my needs I think.

I checked it twice yesterday, reckoning it was about time for an update! It always catches me out.

 

There was a jump in the installer file size (13.5 MB to 20.8 MB.) Apparently, v 2.5.200.0 can add some kind of OCR component for reading or recognizing text in a PDF. I chose to NOT install that piece...

 

Yes, it has an OCR built-in. I made some quick tests with small documents and it seems to work. Obviously it isn´t a "pro" OCR like FineReader.

It adds a text layer to the original document, and so the resulting document is larger than the original.
