Update offline??

    Hi

    I have the version 3.0642.0 database 2888 and I would like update the software, but in that pc i havent internet...therefore i would like know if there is some option for download the updates in my pendrive for then update the software, please tell me where i can download it??

    Oh my God!
    I've just bought a boxed version of Nod32 3.0...

    Nowhere in the site I've found a notice saying "WARNING! Your Pc must be connected to Internet to get updates. No Offline updates.".

    They talk about a USER/PASSWORD to get automatic updates via NOD32 Application, but NOWHERE (it seems) they said this...

    IT IS VERY BAD!
    30€ for.... a non updatable antivirus....
    Very bad!

    In such a modern and connected world we live in , you are supposed to have internet connection . The majority of the threats that appear nowadays are internet-borne (they appear there , they live there , they die there) . I have read statistics that less than 5% of all the threats nowadays are file infectors . Also , there are worms which spread via removable media (such as memory cards or USB flash) but there are ways you can prevent them .

    With no internet/network connection , you are less likely to get infected .

    Is there any specific reason you have no internet connection ?

    Feel free to provide a :rolleyes: when appropriate ;) , otherwise some might be gulliable enough to believe your insinuation that there is at least one anti-malware program in this big world of ours that provides appropriate sig updates without being plugged into the world wide web :doubt:

    ESET doesn't provide offline updates. If and when the day comes they do, forum members will be the first to know.
