Update icon in CC is red

I had a call from a user this morning, who was worried that the button (icon) beside update (the square one beside the second update heading) was red.
She had just been on line & the update had downloaded successfully ... same version as mine.
I got her to run the scanner, but nothing was found.
So, we are now left wondering why the update is red

 

to me, it sounds like automatic updates are turned off.. to turn them back on, go to "nod32 system tools", "scheduler/planner", and then, in the window that pops up, check the box at the top of the list for "regular automatic update"..

 

but how could that be, when it just did an automatic update before she rang me?
in any case, I will get her check that out & get back to you with the answer ... thanks

 

That's what it sounded like to me. It may be that she clicked on an area in the Control Centre accidentally and unticked Auto-update before realizing and going into the right area
