    This seems to be one of those updates that you shouldn't install willy-nilly. The actual MSKB page is here:

    The patch mentioned above is to correct the following symptoms:

    So, if you're not having those problems, this update isn't for you.

    Edit: Unless you're like me, and for some deep, dark, strange psychological reason, can't stand not having the latest of everything.

    I installed this update to see if it really would make a difference and found out that it disables quite a few functions in firefox some of them as simple as not being able to select an image to upload to a post, firefox will not click the buttons and there are a lot more that it kills. it did not affect IE or opera just firefox. MS fighting dirty? at least a quick restore fixed everything up.

    Who knows ? We already know that they can do everything to get to the top.
    Windows will always be the best BETA in the world.
    We can test it, so they can fix things that they even know how it works.
