Keep your 2.7 on the machines as long as it works for them

I too have lost ability to update on two machines that were working fine until 1/19~20. I'm on a 90-day trial that ends 3/4/2008 and it's ESS 621. Erase and reenter doesn't work. Anybody have similar experience?

Well today I found out that Eset pulled the plug on the 90-day trial and returned to 30-day. Supposedly, the 90-day was being abused. That explains my update failure.
