    Thanks for posting..:thumb:
Funny, after updating, Firefox still says I'm using an outdated version, but lists the current version as installed. The Adobe version test confirmed that I have the latest version. Go figure...

You all are most welcome. :)

That's what I was led to believe, which is why I posted the "approved" link (no idea why Adobe has to get their drawers in a roar over this issue).

Thanks for the release notes, btw. :D

This has been a TOS issue at Wilders for a while, perhaps a Board Mod can look-up, LWM's topic. :cautious:
    Alrighty, then.

They don't allow the distribution3 link because Adobe send a request not to, but they didn't send 1 about the direct download links present on the distribution3 link page, did they?
It would be nice if a mod could answer this. Anyway, if if that isn't allowed here, the Flash downloads on Filehippo are the same installers as the clean ones on said distribution3 link.(For the people that don't know about the link)

Auto update doesn´t work. It fails because "there is another version installed".

Of course, there is another version installed. Isn´t it an updater?

Unless the Website Administration is willing to re-address what has already been addressed, there will be nothing more forthcoming. I fail to see the lack of complexity in unchecking the third-party foistware in the default download (Adobe) link. Downloading from third-party sources, put the entire onus on the user.

Last time I checked, CCleaner Slim & Flash Player were not the same software. You seem to have lost me.

It's a royal crock what Adobe's done by making their website the only place to get Flash. I was never crazy about constantly updating Flash in the first place and this just gives me a good reason to stop altogether. Their website is difficult to navigate and confusing. It only offers the latest version as far as I can tell so if you want another one you're screwed. I'm just gonna use the version I got until it no longer works and figure out what to do then. I can safely say I'll never use anything by Adobe again if I have a choice in the matter.

I was sure that 11.5.502.135 was on FileHippo only a day after the Adobe upgrade. I can't see them now. I used to rely on FileHippo to update the plug-ins on my Toshiba laptop as I found it wouldn't upgrade from Adobe's site. I managed it this time by turning off the UAC, & when the computer re-booted I discovered that the plug-ins were up to date. I am not sure why.
