unknown error message

    Hi

    I am using RVS 2010 and whilst in safe mode have received a few times the following message in a text balloon on the system tray (I think that's what it called, all the icons in the bottom right):

    Windows was unable to save all the data for the file y:\windows\system32\rvsmonf.def. Data has been lost.

    Could anyone tell me what this means and how to fix it?
