I just bought Universal Restore from PC connection... Restored the image from my old server to my new server, poweredge 2600, with different hardware, it rebooted and everything seems to work fine, but I get this message, "The system is being configured in accordance with specified restore options" and it's been like this for like 5 hours now. The mouse moves it doesn't look like it hanged, but why is it taking soo longo_O?

Same problem here on an IBM X345. The operation worked perfectly but I've got the same ugly message during hours and it never reboots.

the migration is stalled at this point...

    Thanks in advance for help/replies.

    hi,
did you try a cold boot? means power off / power on.
Perhaps the ur routine hangs on shutdown request.

Yes the first thing I tried, It seems that I face a known problem corrected in the latest build 3718 of universal restore but I don't this version yet!!!

Not sure if it will correct the problem. For me I only need to remove this mini setup at first reboot afer restore, but I don't know how (I tried in safe mode but I've got no clue where to remove this stuff : mini_setup).

    Thanks for your replies.

    Hello together, Dear Acronis Support

mini_setup is a service that does at first boot the configuration job for the restored system. If you are in trouble with this service, deactivate it.

See the screenshot below from a german xp,sp2:

    How-to:
    boot in save mode
    use computer managemet
    klick services
    search mini_setup
    double klick mini_setup
change Starttype from automatic to deaktivated
    klick ok
    reboot
Now you should get the logon screen from your system.

Also you can use regedit to delete this mini_setup service completely.

Hope this How-to is helpfull for your issue.
