Why do I want this? I trailed Storagecraft and they have HIR(Hardware independant restore) --> Same as Acronis Universal Restore. With their VistaPE Bootcd you can use HIR even when you havent restored and Image. So when your system won't boot you can use HIR quickly to try again to make your system bootable. When I do a UR restore with acronis it goes like this. 1. Restore Image 2. UR restore kicks of. 3. Reboot system Now when the system won't boot (for example I entered the wrong mass storage driver) I would have to at minimum restore drive C: again before the UR can have another chance at it.. With Storagecraft I would just have to boot from cd en run HIR again without pointlessly restoring a drive or partition again which I already had restored before but just wont boot...... SO what do we vote for here! Give the option to Universal Restore in the bootcd ALSO seperatelly just like Storagecraft does with here. Let the voting begin!!! p.s people who vote here should also vote(look) here https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=205014
