Im fairly new to True Image Workstation 9.1. I have backed up a hard drive image, and i have restored it without using Universal Restore.

Now i want to put that image on a hard drive with different hardware so i tried to use universal restore but once the process gets to about 70% it fails.

    ANY HELP PLEASE!!!!

or if anyone has step by step instructions how to backup and restore using universal restore.

    Thanks

I am in the process of using the Recovery process the first time myself right now. I created an image of my healthy desktop onto an external 1tb HD. I have a test machine that I am using the recovery on, which is VERY different hardware wise from my desktop. The source for the recovery desktop machine is going over the LAN to my healthy desktop and pulling the source from the 1tb external HD. I now realize that I should of attached the external HD to the actual recovery machine, since the time showed 6 hours when it first started the recovery process (lesson learned). I will edit this post once my recovery is complete.
