Yes, but I block it from the Windows Firewall and also add these entries to my hosts file so it doesn't hang for 5 seconds before it launches due to it not detecting internet connectivity since I blocked it:

    Code:
    0.0.0.0 ncc.avast.com
    0.0.0.0 ncc.avast.com.edgesuite.net
    0.0.0.0 license.piriform.com
    0.0.0.0 ipm-provider.ff.avast.com
    0.0.0.0 shepherd.ff.avast.com
    0.0.0.0 ip-info.ff.avast.com
    0.0.0.0 analytics.ff.avast.com
PS: I only use the portable version, since years so all my settings are saved across all devices.

After literally decades of use, and persisting with CCleaner, especially because of winapp2.ini through CCEnhancer, I believe I'll now ditch it on new machines, specially after latest Firefox issue (which I think I avoided though).
Maybe try BleachBit for winapp2.ini? Though one has to be cautious of BleachBit 'aggression' too.

Else just stick with Storage Sense. And Wise Disk Cleaner has worked for me.

Reference Wise Disk Cleaner X (WDC) ---------

Here's something i recently discovered about WDC: one of my security apps (a recently re-installed anti-exe) popped alerts telling me that WDC was attempting to run takeown.exe. As the file name indicates, takeown.exe will allow a user to "take ownership" of a file and thereby override its protections. Thus, I have made takeown.exe a "vulnerable" file on my anti-exe so that I am alerted whenever that file is called.

I examined the command lines used by WDC and deemed them all to be safe, so I whitelisted them. I will list the whitelisted command lines below, after I ask you a question...............

QUESTION: Did I screw up by whitelisting the following command lines?

Wise Disk Cleaner had become a preferred choice with all the CCleaner shenanigans, but since about October '20 it wiped my Firefox pinned tabs and reinstated (unhides) bookmarks toolbar, so a bit wary of it now.
Just using CCleaner (PortableApps version) without issue.

    Edit: And Kerish Doctor 2021.
