    Hi,

    Windows XP here..

I uninstalled NOD AV 3.0 via the Add/Remove Control Panel then removed all folders that I could locate that were generated by the install. I then deleted all leftover registry keys containing a 'NOD32' string.

When I rebooted I was unable to connect to the internet via my browsers or Outlook Express email client. Any idea why? This has never happened before on an uninstall of 2.7

I 'regained' my ability to connect to the internet again by performing a system restore which surprisingly restored AV 3.0 back on my computer.

What should I do next time to avoid this if I wish to uninstall NOD AV 3.0? Also, what else could I have done to restore ability to connect to internet? Winsock repair?

    Thanks!

So it is a Winsock matter then - thanks for that information Rescue!
