uninstall

I am running spyblaster 3.2 on windows 98 on an older computer. I would like to update and it tells me to uninstall the old program before installing the new one. It says to go to controlpanel and add/remove programs, but spyblaster is not listed there. I also have My Uninstaller , a program for such use, and spyblaster is not listed there either. How can I uninstall it prior to installing the new update. Please I need help. Thank You

May be the uninstall file is corrupted. Try to re-install
Version 3.2 first.

Thank you for your answer, but everywhere I look they only want to offer 3.3 for download. Do you have a site where I can download 3.2? I dont have the installation file in my file for spyware blaster.

i can't uninstall the swb 3.2...i get this error message:

The uninstall log file “C:\Program Files\SpywareBlaster\unins000.dat” is in a format not recognized by this version of the uninstaller. Cannot uninstall.

what do i do

Hi Ron.

I edited your email addy to protect it from Harvesters and Spambots.

As to your problem, try reinstalling then uninstalling. See if that works.

Yes, it is preferred to uninstall 3.2 first, but since you are unable to do that, then try installing version 3.3 overtop of the older version.

I have the same here

Cant update with version 3.3, but if i install 3.2 it works fine.

I dont have any programs blocking for spywareblaster, it just hangs/crashes

Im running w2k sp4 all patches
