Have now tried three times to install the trial version of TI9, only to get a 'Failed to Register Product - Please try later' message.

If you can't even get it installed, it doesn't give much (any!) confidence in the program rescuing a system when you most need it.

Was attempting to trial it on a SATA RAID system on WinXp, but not seen any info on the website or advice in the forum, other than negative.

Best not to bother it appears.

The registration will not work through a proxy, that may be the problem. Go to one of the sticky threads at the top of the forum, find a post from Acronis Support and click on the name to send a PM to them on the problem. They will send you a link to get you started on the install.

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

Actually, the sticky thread, mentioned above by Mem, has already been removed for the specific reasons.

However, I've sent you a Private Message with the download link for the free trial version of Acronis True Image 9.0 that does not require the online registration.

You can find the detailed instructions on how to use Acronis True Image 9.0 in the respective User's Guide.

You may also find Acronis True Image 9.0 FAQ page helpful.

Please visit Acronis online store to purchase the full version of the product.

Please also note that we have a flexible system of discounts and the amount of the discount varies depending on the number of copies you want to purchase.

In case you are planning to purchase many copies, please contact our Sales Team at sales@acronis.com.

If you have any further questions concerning Acronis software, please feel free to submit a request for technical support or post any of them on this forum. We will certainly try to help you in resolving any issues.

    "Testy" indeed.

I use TI v9 with a SATA II Raid 0 setup and it performs perfectly (to an internal IDE backup drive). I'm still trying to figure out the scheduling, but I think I'm just about there.
