"Undetectable" remote installation keylogger

    Since I believe that being infected with a keylogger is the end of any kind of privacy, I was trying myself to create something that would let me install a keylogger on my machine without noticing it. Well, I find it not trivial, since most antivirus easily recognize any known keylogger, no matter how you try to hide it.
    So, besides writing my own keylogger, what are the "trivial" methods to infect my pc with a keylogger without my antivirus noticing it?

    From I gathered , if you get some malware ( your keylogger ) program , you can mask it from an anti-virus program, with some sort of "wildcard" generating program ...

    I could have picked that up totally wrong of course.
