Unallocated Space !!

I have just done a Merge in Disc Director and I thought all the files and the space should be transfered to the receiving partition however the files transfered but the space is now listed as unallocated, so how do I get this into my main Partition I can't seem to work it out sorry

Do you have current backups of your files and/or partitions?

Are you saying that the files were successfully moved to the destination partition, but the space from the source partition wasn't?

Have you tried resizing the partition to use the unallocated space or is it not located next to the receiving partition?

Personally, I recommend against using the Merge and Split options of DD. There's too high a risk of data loss if something goes wrong.
