Can someone PLEASE help me? I cannot uninstall NOD32 no matter which way I try, without it totally locking up/freezing my system!! In my attempts to remove this program my system got so messed up that other programs have gone askew! Luckily I have GoBack to revert my hard drive to a time when it was working correctly. The only problem with that is now I've lost very important information I had stored.
This nightmare is driving me to distraction, I NEED to get this trial version of NOD32 off my system so that I can install the version I just paid $39 for!
Having said that if this is what the trial version does to your system, I may be asking for a refund!

what version of the trial do you have? If you have 2.5.30, then there is no need to uninstall. This is a very recent change in NOD32 - up until this very last release, you had to uninstall.

If u got trialversion 2.51.30 u dont have to uninstall, u can upgrade to full version in Update module.

I've never had any troubles uninstalling older trialversions, so i cant help u with that.

Did u try to uninstall in safe mode?

edit- i'm not that slow with my typing, but uninstalled NOD32 in safe mode to see it actually works, before posting this....

revert back again to the time before you reverted your drive, write down your user name and password and then if you wish you can revert back again, but doing this will lose you your information you lost again, you should have it back once you re-revert lol if you know what I mean:D

This is absolutely not normal to have problems with uninstalling.
Even you manage to upgrade to full version, it may not make your life easier at all, at the end, that is.
Most certainly, you should first solve the system problems you have.
