    Hi, weyre

    Welcome to Wilders Forums.

I take hands a typo = hangs.

Where does it hang. [any error on screen]

    Did you restore the MBR.

How are you do the restore, in Windows or with the Rescue BootCD.

I am guessing it was Windows.

Try using your BootCD to restore the MBR.

I apologize for not being a little more clearer.

Essentially I had created an image on Jan 15 and for some reason my server has become corrupted. So, I click on restore and for some reason I get two options for restore, the Jan 15 backup and an MBR. I can only click on one or the other so I click on the backup archive.

The system looks as though its going through the normal process, reboots and then comes to a black screeen call Acronis, Loading please wait and hangs forever. I have not tried the CD, that is next but that is a good suggestion. I have checked my bios settings and there is nothing that leads me to believe that would hold me up.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

    Hi, weyre

    That as it should be.

I do not know the cause of that. [I never restore from within Windows only from the BootCD]

Boot from the Rescue BootCD and goto the Image and just try restoring the MBR.

If That does not work, restore the Image using the BootCD.

    Take Care,
