Unable to restore using Acronis True Image 11

I have made an image of my hard drive and saved it to an external hard drive.
The image consists of 7 files (jim-pc-backup1.tib etc)

When I attempt to restore this image onto another PC I locate the external hard drive in the tree strucure and click on the it. It then show me the 7 back-up files, BUT when I click on anyone of these files it says 'The selected file is not an Acronis True Image Home Archive'

I do not understand this, as the image was created using ATIHA and I have the same version on 3 machines.

If anyone can help me with this I would appreciate it.

Was the original backup image created with TI 11 from Windows or the TI 11 CD?

I assume you are using a TI 11 CD when you boot to the other computer (you'll get the error message you describe if you select a TI 11 image with a TI 10 CD).
