    Hi,
i am working with a laptop (samsung r60, 160 GB SATA drive, MS Vista 32bit Home premium)). Its drive is partioned like this:

    20 GB Windows-Rescuepartition
    29 GB Partition C
110 GB Datapartition (crypted with Truecrypt)

    I performed a backup/verify of partition c (2xDVD) with ATI 11 Home - everthng worked like a charm.

I tried to perfom a rescue of partition c and started the ati rescue disk (on cd), . So far, so good - but when ati asked me for the destination partition, i was able to choose the rescuepartition an the datapartition - partition c was marked grey.

How can i restore the archive to its original partition? Where is the fault?

    Regards
    Andreas

    Hello abyss02,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

We are sorry for the delayed response.

Please try checking the drive for errors using "chkdsk c: /r" or via Windows interface (including surface check). You will need to reboot the computer to perform the operation.

If the issue persists, please collect some information to let us investigate it thoroughly:

Please clarify, where is the image archive stored?

Please create Acronis Report as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with a solution.

    Thank you.
