"Unable to load file system monitor" error

    this has just started happening on my laptop. any suggestions?

    Possible malware infection or program problem .

    To check for malicious software , use Panda's and Kaspersky's free online scanners here:

    http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner

    Then , I hope there will be no malware , reinstall NOD32.
    Remove your current version using Add/Remove programs in Control Panel and then after restart manually delete the ESET folder in C:\Program files

    Download and install the latest NOD32 version from here:
    http://www.eset.com/download/registered_software.php

    Update NOD32

    Configure AMON , EMON , DMON , IMON . Configure other settings

    It's very unlikely that it would be caused by an infection. Try the following:

    - download the latest version 2.51.26
    - uninstall NOD32
    - reboot the pc
    - install NOD32 2.51.26
    - reboot the pc
    - update virus signatures to the most current version 1.1522
