    Hi,
I seem to be unable to do either in Vista regardless of settings. When right clicking a log list entry I can choose to delete the selected scan log or delete all and get a confirmation message asking if I want to do this which is good, but then nothing is deleted. Using the latest version...

Any insights on how to actually clear the log file list in the GUI or is there a specific file I can delete to clear the list?

    Thanks
    Mike

    Hi,
Thanks for the reply but why should UAC matter if you open the GUI using RUNAS?

    Mike , open C:\Users\username\AppData\
Find the ESET dir inside (I don't remember where exactly it is located , but there is a subdir called "logs" , I think) . Then delete everything from the Logs dir

    Hi,
    Thanks, found it:

    C:\ProgramData\ESET\ESET NOD32 Antivirus\Logs\eScan

    Hi proactivelover,
Yes I am but it appears this is still an issue, at least on the Vista system I am using it on...

Hopefully erasing these files inside got rid of the logs

Sorry, should have let you know on that - yes, deleting those files removed the scanner logs :)
