Hello, I'm writing from Abine, the company who creates and maintains the Blur privacy extension. We recently received reports from our users that the uMatrix plugin was causing Blur's password auto-filling capabilities to fail. I would appreciate any information on how to rectify this issue. Thank you, Robin User reports; So your suspicion was correct – the problem was another extension (I was hoping that wouldn't be the case). It turns out that uMatrix was causing trouble. Along with Blur, uMatrix is an essential tool for me (it's far more configurable and useful than the venerable NoScript). User reports; Under Firefox 55 (I've tested this with 52ESR and the bug is not present) with the addon uMatrix the "masked emails" function fails with an "unknown error - are you connected to the Internet?" message. The workaround is to disable uMatrix, but there's a heck of a lot of overlap between Blur's market and uMatrix's.
