    Hi,

I'm running Ubuntu 12.04.4 on both x386 and x64 systems.

On my 32bit system, after 10 minutes of inactivity, the Ubuntu screen dims, and when I come back the screen is already all locked up. I then put in my password and get going again. All is well and working as supposed to.

But on my x64 desktop, when I come back and touch the mouse, the screen pops back up and I can see the last window or document I was working on before the screen started to dim. If I try to access the document THEN the system lock up dialog appears, and the system is locked down. So any colleague trying to access and modify my docs could not do it, because clicking the mouse would launch the lock down screen, but if he did not try to access it, he still could see the page I was working on before screen dimming.

Anybody has a similar problem? Any suggestion/solution!?

    Thanks

Hi, FAI, reverted back from NVIDIA 311 to 304. It solved my problem.
