    Thank you for the info.

I'm using the AdGuard extension as its "Block WebRTC" protects Local and Public IP addresses.

No, not your public IP address. See, e.g., https://ip-check.info

Previously, don't know what the problem was. Now I reinstalled uBO, and it's working well.

Previously, VPN connected, and WebRTC option enabled in uBO, https://browserleaks.com/webrtc under Public IP Address showed my Real IP Address.

Now I reinstalled uBO, and https://browserleaks.com/webrtc under Public IP Address shows the IP address of the connected VPN.

Interesting. If I am interpreting it correctly it looks like all of them are better than nothing and any of them that work as desired would be worth it even if that were not the case.

uBlock is 2nd, but win in total i would say due its capabilities, Ghostery is not even close to this.

Well, for a fair test, one would hopefully assume all ad/content-blockers were evaluated at default settings.

I missed same tests for Firefox. however, the impacts are astonishing.

Since Chromebooks are shipped with Google Chrome, you should be able to install it from the Web Store, I guess?

if chromebooks are using the chrome app there exist no option to use any extension in chrome. its not designed to use extensions. get another browser.

If you look here, it seems possible:
    https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/2588006?hl=en
Not possible on a locked down school or work Chromebook.

    Or install Firefox on it:

So chrome must be different on android and chromebook? I cannot open the webstore on android so i cannot add extensions, only on my desktop which is pretty pointless. Thats why i use firefox (nightly) and extensions.

That seems to be the case.
Don't know anything about Android though (I have no smartphone...).

Not true. It blocks attacks, e.g., against your router and mimics ABE in Noscript.

my router is not vulnerable from LAN here, you need to identify to do something.

and ofc it is pointless to discuss about attacks from the browser or operating system against the lan. because you need to exploit the browser or the system. the logic tell me that either browser or system is already vulnerable to attacks. in case of firefox there exist a lot of more switches to prevent iframe access that way, there is no other way.
and for noscript, read your self:
    https://noscript.net/abe/
no ABE any more. you talk about outdated and vulnerable builds of noscript? just lol, sorry.

    No. Examples:
    https://decoded.avast.io/threatinte...utercsrf-attacks-and-dns-hijacking-in-brazil/
Portscanning - see the sources mentioned for this add-on (which is superfluous when using gwarser's list)

I know very well that it is no longer available in the Noscript webextension. But it had been a selling argument before, and it did provide protection against specific attacks.

I had removed you from my ignore list in an inexcusable mood of sweet temper. That was obviously a mistake.
