    What about sites that post Youtube videos? If it is a video of something copyrighted that did not have "permission" to be uploaded would that be considered illicit streaming?

    In that case they just made 90% of the Internet illegal. Look at all the forums and blogs that post videos. :(

    Very dangerous...we could potentially all become criminals just by using our browser. :argh:

    Doesn't the article mention that it would bring the punishment for streaming copyright content in line with the punishment for downloading or torrenting? So to me this is more "closing a loophole" than something really new like suddenly making it a criminal offence if you obtain copyright material online. Since it was already illegal, it seems to me that closing this loophole was pretty much inevitable.
