   Given that there are still UK rural areas waiting to get more than 2Mbps speed, I wonder if this is just to divert things away from that fact.
   
   They (BT) have received an awful lot of taxpayers money so far for the supposed roll out of Fiber to all homes.

   I can get 1gb/s today....but I am not prepared to pay "that" much for it, even if it is speedy gonzales fast.
