Twitter has started testing a new feature that allows users to sign up for an account using their existing Google account.

This new Google account integration feature is first being rolled out as an A/B test on Twitter.com (web), allowing users to sign up for Twitter using a Google account.
For those enrolled in the tests, you will now be offered a new login option titled 'Sign up with Google,' as shown below.

The Google login feature is entirely optional, and there are no direct benefits to the integration other than faster signup and the ability to use your existing account on Twitter.

It appears that this feature started rolling out over the weekend and should become available to more users in the coming weeks or months.

Twitter for iOS officially gains support for Sign in with Apple

After beta testing the feature last month, Twitter for iOS is now officially rolling out support for signing in with Apple. This means you can now create a Twitter account with your Apple ID for increased privacy.

Evidence of Twitter’s work on adopting Sign in with Apple was first discovered by researcher Jane Manchun Wong. As it stands right now, Twitter only supports using Sign in with Apple to create a new Twitter account. Apple does offer support for applications and websites to give users the ability to upgrade an existing account to Sign in with Apple, but it does not appear that Twitter has adopted this feature yet.
To use Sign in with Apple, you need to use two-factor authentication and be signed in to iCloud with that Apple ID on your Apple device.

You can download the latest version of Twitter for iOS on the App Store. Twitter says Sign in with Apple support will come to the web “soon.”

Your Google Account on the app and on web

You like me have seen this for years. Log in with your Google Account or some other of choice. What they coin "sync" accounts/log ins with same PW as say Instagram etc and who know what all else out there. I tend to keep things tight and extremely limited.......

Because what happens if just ONE of those sites are compromised in this age of hack happy addictions of breachers whether for prank or ill gain.

Then what. Your passwords/log in info is spread like a windmill in a tornado. Independent isolation of each site seems safer and definitely common sense Logical.
