I have TweakNow Standard (free) installed. Does anyone have experience of TweakNow Professional, is it worth the cost of the upgrade & is it as effective as it claims? :)

    Hi guitarelf,

I have used TweakNow Pro and it is good, but for the most part I think that there are free tools that do just as good of job.

Personally I use CCleaner to clean the system (just be sure to make a backup and go through all registry entries first before deleting in case there is something you are not sure of)

I use RegCompact to defrag the registry.

    Both are free.

    Best,
    Mike

Thanks Mikel, I'm now the proud owner of CCleaner & RegCompact. Most of the best tools for security & performance installed on my computer are freeware....makes you think doesn't it? ;)
