Tweaking antispyware apps to play nicely with ESS

The new version of Spyware Doctor (v8.0.605) prevents ESS from loading properly <sigh>

Which Eset programs should I add to SD's global action list so it ignores them? I can't add the whole darn ESS folder - I tried!

Have you tried adding EKRN.EXE or EGUI.EXE?

Thank you Richard - that worked a treat

 

Aargh! Spoke too soon: it worked for an hour or so, then Spyware Doctor 8 got spooked, started turning off Eset's firewall, and prevented internet access.

For now I've reverted to SD7, but are there other files I should add to SD's exceptions list?
