    Hey Guys,

    First time user here, and what a nice place you have :)
    So a Hello to All :)

    I have a interesting question if anyone would be able to assist me,

    I have recently got the Network Edition of AntiVirus
    After installing it on Multiple Machine everything is working perfect,

    I noticed one thing though, one user turned off their Antivirus for 45 Minutes,

    I looked for a number of options in Tasks to setup an option to force the User to turn it back on, but I would not see one,

    I Disabled my own and ran a few Tasks i fort would of enabled it but never,
    Does anyone know if this is Possible as a Remote Administrator?

    "Options I attempted where."
    * New Task
    * Configuration
    * Create
    Drop Down Options:
    *ESET Smart Security, ESET NOD32 Antivirus
    *ESET Kernel
    *Setup
    *Antivirus Protection
    And I enabled both Anti-Stealth Enabled and Enable Self Defence

    Saved and sent the task, didn’t turn it on though,
    And I this was the only option I could see out the 100's of them that was anything close to enabling and disabling the AV protection / real time scanner

    Any help would be much appreciated

    Thanks
    Dave

    Hello dave7802,

    There is not a way to enable and disable the AV software remotely, but to keep them from disabling it at all, you should password protect the settings. This option can be set in the Remote Administrator and is located in the following location in the Configuration Editor:

    ESET Smart Security, ESET NOD32 Antivirus -> ESET Kernel -> Setup -> Protect setup parameters

    It's been noted, we are planning to allow modules to be enabled (but not disabled due to security risks) through ERAS in the future.
