Tunstall under cyberattack: emergency system (for the elderly and ill people) not working In the Netherlands the Tunstall emergency system is not working, nation-wide. Tunstall says due to a cyberattack; no details as for now. The system is used by thousands of elderly and ill people. They depend on it! At the moment I have only articles in Dutch. It is all over in the news. Tunstall is active in more countries world-wide, but I don't know whether the system is there also under cyberattack. Articles in Dutch: https://www.security.nl/posting/818...odknopsysteem van duizenden ouderen en zieken https://www.tunstall.nl/ict-storing/
Tunstall says it is world-wide marketleader on Connected Care and Connected Health, and active in 49 countries. In Dutch: https://www.tunstall.nl/over-tunstall/
Tunstall NL says today that the first parts of the system are working again. (What that exactly means, I don't know). They are not saying what kind of cyberattack it was and with which cybersecurity company they are working on it. https://www.tunstall.nl/cyberaanval/ PS: Just only one example of the system: An older person falls on the floor, is alone and cannot stand up anymore on his/her own. The person has a "button" on the arm on which to push for help.
Update on 16 Nov 2023 https://www.tunstall.nl/cyberaanval/ They say: The system is working again since yesterday. There have been access to data. This will be further investigated. They have a Q&A page (in Dutch): https://www.tunstall.nl/q-a-cyberaanval-update-16-november-2023/
