    I have 4 extended logical partitions on a hard drive(2nd HD).
    The partitions are setup as:
    1st drive C, D, E, F ( not changing this HD).

    2nd drive:
    Unknown 7.844
    G: = 49.67
    H: = 24.9
    I: = 14.74
    Unknown 7.844
    J: = 59.72

    When i tell the wizard to take 20GB from G: and add it to H: the last screen
    of the wizard shows no change between G and H size. I thought it was
    supposed to show the result of the change.
    Plus I am limited to increasing the space to 24.9 (same as H is currently).

    Note: There is no free space on this drive.

    So, what am i doing wrong??

    thank you,
    savagcl

    Hello savagcl,

    Thank you for your continued interest in Acronis Disk Director Suite (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/diskdirector/).

    Please provide us with the report file and we will definitely help you to resize your partitions as you want them to be.

    Could you please download the Acronis Report utility available at http://www.acronis.com/files/support/AcronisReport.exe and run it, create a report (usually named 'report.txt') and send it to support@acronis.com? This would provide us with detailed information on the hard disk partition structure.

    Please include the link to this thread in your request.

    Thank you.

    Ok, I received a reply from Acronis.

    They told me how to do it. Resizing G partition (to make it smaller then resize H
    to include the new free space). How do i tell ADD to put the free space on the
    right side of G?

    Thanks,
    savagcl

    Hello savagcl,

    Please run Acronis Disk Director Suite 9.0 and follow the instructions:
    - choose View -> Manual Mode in the Main Menu;
    - right click on your G:\ partition and choose the 'Resize' option;
    - please set the 'Unallocated space after' to 20 Gb and press the 'OK' button.

    Thank you.
