I have registered by boxed purchase of ATI2009 build 9709 with Acronis. I am having difficulty locating where I actually download the latest update (9796)from.

    1. I log-in to My Account on the Acronis home page.
    2. I click on "Get Updates"
    3. The Customer Support-Product Updates page appears.
    4. I see the ATI update 9796 listed with others but there is no "Download" option that I can see.

There is a link to the release notes but no link to start the download. I'm sure there is something simple I'm missing.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Yes where you are looking there is no download button.

Instead you need to go the the option "Registered Products & Support"

    Glad I could help.

So far there are 2 new threads today reporting issues with the new build.
One about backing up to a network and one about installation.

I will be watching these threads before I move from build 9709.

Install seems to have gone OK. So far nothing unusual. I tried restoring a file from a 9709 backup from an external HD with good results. One curious thing - when I check the Help-About page, it shows the build as 9791.

Running into the same problem. There is a link for the Release Notes, but not the actual product. Any ideas what is wrong?

See Jehosophat's post #2 above. That worked for me.

The only place it seems that refers to build 9796 is on the Acronis web page. The build is actually 9791.

Just right click and look at the properties of the down load file or the about using the ALT key. Both these places call the build 9791.

We have all got to refer to this latest build by a name. So I have been calling it 9796 as per the web site. But it is really build 9791.

Perhaps we should call it "Build 9796 aka 9791"?

Hopefully Acronis will fix some more of the outstanding bugs and issue a new build with a new number.

Acronis have made yet another promise to fix this and release a new build.

Tried all of that & still no appearence of a link to the most recent build. Could someone just post a link to whatever the most current build is for home edition?

    Try this.
https://www.acronis.com/my/products/index.html. Once there, log into "My Account", then click on "Registered Products and Support" (left side of screen). The next page shows your registered product(s) with a download button to build 9791 (aka 9796) at the lower right of the page.

Still NOT getting it. Did you mention & get the following screen. (I scribbled out the serial number.)

BTW, did misread the tone of these E-mails; I appreciate your responses.

Yes, that's the screen I downloaded from. You start the download by pressing the small arrow in the lower right corner. Your product and available build number are different than mine though.

Tried that, ran the installer, TrueImage11.8101_s_en.exe, and it told me that I have a new version installed.

    1. Is that 8101 in the installer's file name, the build #?
If so, why is that installer being downloaded instead of build 9796?

Something is not right, and I wouldn't be making such a big deal about this, except that the disk cloning feature is not working, and I want to make sure that I have the latest & greatest version.

Do you actually have ATI 2009? It seems to me you have ATI 11 (this is your registerd product) and so you can't get updates for ATI 2009.

Looks to me that you haven't registered True Image 2009 yet.

DUH! Thanks Bruce! When I registered, I used the serial # from True Image 11. Using build 9796, cloned one disk, error free.

Boy, do I feel like an idiot.
