Hi all, I was somewhat shocked, to put it mildly, that whenU has "gained" trust-e certification, as "safe adware". A contradiction in terms,I would have thought.:ninja:
    link.

To me, that raises more the question of whether trust-e is to be trusted, rather than whether or not whenU is trustworthy.(it's not, IMO)

I had a brief look on trust-e's website, but couldn't really glean any information on the "certification" process, but according to wikipedia, this certification has led to whenU being removed from spybots definitions, as well as spyware dr's.

I think that trust-e has set a pretty appalling precedent here, and is also legitimizing the whole adware business.

Does anyone else find this as horrifying as I do?

    Hello,

Sounds like the typical money-grabbing bullcrap.
I had better keep quiet.... Cause my post will surely be deleted.

This monopoly of fake consumerism and fear-mongering has to be stopped. And it can only be stopped in one way - revolution, which Linus Torvalds started in the early 90s.

    Mrk
