TrueImageCMD.exe and Dynamic disks

Hi all,

earlier today, I tried my luck with TrueImageCMD.exe (the one from True Image WS , but it does not support dynamic disks - which I can understand.

I saw in the knowledge base that Acronis True Image Server (and Enterprise Server) 9.1 are capable of backing up and restoring Windows Dynamic disks.

Are the command-line operable utilities from the actual (i.e. 9.1) server line of products (if there are any TrueImageCMD.exe tools - or likewise - in those products) capable of handling dynamic disks, too? If so, which ones?

Yes, Acronis True Image 9.1 Enterprise Server and Acronis True Image 9.1 Server for Windows support Windows Dynamic Disks in command-line mode. Check chapter 15. Command-line mode and scripting in User's Guide. Also be aware of the limitation described in chapter 3.8 Using dynamic disks and volumes (in rescue mode dynamic disks are not accessible, so don't store images on it.)
