When I look at the default option I got the option to add media components when the image is made.

Is this only for CD/DVD or can this also be done when backing up to TAPE?

AL lot of tape drive have the "One Button Disaster recovery Option" Which makes it possible to boot from tape.

Dus TrueImage media components support this?

    Thanx in Advance

    Hello Jeremy,

The User's Guide says that the Media Components can be included when imaging to "removable media". However, it doesn't specifically say that this includes Tape but, for sure, it does specifically exclude DVDs.

    Regards

    Hello Jeremy,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Backup Software.

I'm afraid that it is not possible to add Media Components such as Acronis One-Click restore when you create an image saving it to the tape drive. The current Acronis True Image version allows adding Media Components only when you create an image saving it to CD, removable Flash Drive or ZIP drive.

If you want us to change the behaviour of Acronis True Image in any way or add some new features to this product, please feel free to post any of your suggestions in Acronis True Image WISH-LIST thread.

If you have any further questions concerning Acronis software, please feel free to submit a request for technical support or post any of them on this forum. We will certainly try to help you in resolving any issues.

    Thank you.
