We have installed TIS on W2k Adv. Server and when we try to backup a partition we have the following message "Error writing the file". We try to save the file on a HDD not on CD or DVD. Do you have any idea ?

    Hello STR,

Thank you for choosing Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/products/trueimage/).

We are really sorry for the inconveniences.

Could you please download Acronis Report utility available at http://www.acronis.com/files/support/AcronisReport.exe and run it, create a report and send it to support@acronis.com? This would provide us with detailed information on the hard disk partition structure. Also please describe the problem briefly and we will do our best in order to resolve it as soon as possible.

    Thank you.

The problem is simple. I try to create a backup of my partition "D" and I want to save it on partition "F". It is a Win2k Adv. Server, I am administrator. The error message appears when he tries to create the image file.

I have sent the report file and a screenshot to support@acronis.com (subject = Problem from STR)

    Dear STR,

Please send these files to support@acronis.com! The problem seems to be simple, but this doesn't mean that it is simple.

    Thank you.
