True Image icon disappears under Vista

    Hello,

    I have installed the newest Version (4942) of True Image 10 under Vista Home Premium.

    After rebooting the system the True Image icon is disappeared. There is only the windows symbol.

    Can you help me?

    Yes, I experienced that and then one day it just re-appeared. I have no idea why this happened.

    Are there entries for Acronis in the Start menu?

    Is TrueImage listed in Add/Remove software?

    Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling TrueImage?

    Could you please follow jmk94903 advice and re-install the latest build (4942) of Acronis True Image 10.0 Home?

    Note that you can manually create a shortcut for Acronis True Image 10.0 Home. Please check this article for instructions.
